Why is it that.... when your Son sidesteps you (because he knows what you will say) and goes to his Mother with a request and then she comes to you and asks it on his behalf and you say "No effing way" you get overridden, browbeaten and told that you are a bad person for saying you do not want to comply.
Then, when they get what they want .....and there is a penalty to it you are then asked to pick up the pieces when your advice was "just say NO" in the first place?
It really boils my pi$$.

I used to get similar but now they don't usually fill me in on any details!
