I wish Trump would just keep his mouth shut. His ideas and governmental actions were fine with me but he was a disaster as a politician. I still resonate to him philosophically, but I would like him to fade away as a personality. Quickly.

But I don't think he will.

As to how everything goes, I have no idea. Merka has been weirder than usual these days, so there's no telling.

My Dad, a retired accountant, used to go to a casino, play the roulette wheel and win. Not big, but enough. (He told me it was deathly boring so he stopped going.):D:D:D
He also developed a bit of a system on the football pools and once won enough to buy a brand new Ford Pop. So I am not going to knock methods of winning.:):):)
I also remember that one bloke won the Lottery, (cannot remember if it was the National or the Euro), but he did the only thing I think you can possibly do to shorten the odds albeit fractionally, he played exactly the same numbers from when it started and they obvs came up.;)
Odds of winning the Euromillions , 1 in 139,838,160. Estimates vary as to how many tickets are sold every draw, (funny that they don't post this info) but say 50 million seems to be reasonable as an estimate. So no wonder it rolls over. Should take three each time!
Pundits say you should choose equal numbers of odd and even numbers and apparently 43% of the time a number from the previous big win shows up again in the next winner!

Eye worked oot the most economical amount of tickets to buy, based on average chance of winning, for what was the origional uk lottery. Auto generating numbers, stripping out those wiv too many numbers matching other lines put on at the same time, then running that past draw numbers created automatically. This was run on a network server at wuk years ago as phooter's didn't have the speed. It took 3 days to run on a phooter. Server did it way faster. The test created a set of results for putting x amount of lines on. X was then increased and test run again. This continued in a loop increasing x each time. Each 'test set' was tested thousands of times to create an average. We were going to put the money on as a consortium. But it ended wiv too many daft idea's from others. It involved putting on lots of tickets. No gurantee of winning big prizes so may not pay oft. But it would give us the cheapest option of winning the most prizes on average. So value for money on entry but no gurantee on payoot. Years later eye can now do it myself and accept a loss iffit dunt pay oft. But eye has given up gambling which stops me.

one is a four post the others are two posters (in different places) If I have a ramp here id end up with
loads of peeps wanting me to do repairs then go in huff cause I'll tell em to feck off.

Resonate with that. Trump is skewing the whole situation, the rhetoric (and, frankly, nonsense) flooding the arena is troubling.
Yes, it's none of my business, but fascinating all the same.

Having said that, if unfortunately faced with a Biden/Trump decision in 2024, I'd definitely vote for for Trump, but not happily.

I can understand that. I hope the GOP gets a handle on all this and stands as a proper party and not the tool of a self styled icon. From this side I just can't believe that Trump puts the good of your country above his own overarching desire for aggrandizement and avarice.
Interesting times (and still none of my business).

I too was part of a syndicate. I started it in my Faculty and all were willing. Didn't do anything like what you did and I wish we had done so, and had the wherewithall to have done so, but we didn't so we just ran the same numbers over and over again. At the beginning we won a few times but then it tailed off and people lost interest, so we stopped.
It's a shame you couldn't convince your syndicate to go along with your ideas. but that's life.
so you n longer gamble but you have premium bonds which I accept aren't a gamble as you can never lose your stake.
My Dad's method was a modification of Martingale, and as I said it worked for him but was so boring. It didn't always work and one evening he lost everything, (he only ever went with what he could afford to lose) except for one last punt. So he put it on a number instead of a colour and by some miracle won, so got his stake back and more!
