That is rather poor but you can't force people to work for the postal service. One of the drawbacks of being remote :(

I think it’s more the way they are treated by head office. No overtime and if they don’t get the mail until lunchtime due to weather or the ferries broked they work till they finish which can be 8pm for nothing. No posties can come here to work as there’s no affordable accommodation

Our postal service has collapsed. The posties have all left apart from two so they are saying on faceache that if you want any post you have to go to the islands sorting office and collect your own. Only a 20 mile round trip then. And Christmas is not far away either.

Make a round trip and make a few drops? You could wear a special hat.. :)

Afternoon folks:).

Just in from tiding up the war zone and its looking more like a garage again;). Well, the tools are back in the places they should be and mopped up fluids.
Another lovely day here M taking Nephew sightseeing, so I am being left to my own devices and got to cook for myself, Now what will it be;).

I shall quickly retract my earlier comment..

Looks like I might be about to get slung off the camp stove forum.
After about the twentieth post telling me off for daring to think of using Brasso to clean the brass tank, I let rip rather with a couple of links and a sarcastic comment about soaking one's tank in Brasso for 4 days.
Rather a navel regarding bunch methinks.
Call this my "Do you have a sense of humour" test.;):D

5 minutes ago it was thunderin and lightnin, the dogs were barkin and W considered for about 5 minutes whether to go to her sewing class or not.
Now the bliddy sun's out again and I have no more excuses to not go outside and get on with stuff.
Wish it would make its mind up.:(
cup of coffee and the last of the crumbly cake and it might get hissing down again.
One can but hope.;)
