A chap I know, not a mate but ive known him for years.
He asked me for some work & I said ive got a few wee jobs I can put you on to in the
coming weeks. Fair enough id give him a shout, then the next day he comes and asks
for a loan of cash (400 sovs) he said hed give me a monkey back so I thought ok then.
He's been up to see me today says he'll have the money tomorrow.
Now do I take the 500 cause I kinda feel bad cause he's skint or do I just take the cash &
say cheers. It must have been quite hard to come & ask me in the first place.
What would yous do.....

I was having a lie-in, then the doorbell rang.
No-one there when I went down (dressed), and no parcel left on the front step.
Went into the kitchen and there was a man in my back garden. My youngest lad. Mystery solved.

Dunno. Can only speak for myself. Happy, and getting on with a little job that has been waiting to be done since March
Afternoon folks.
Been good here too
Used the chain sharpener and then went and cut up a couple of our cherry tree bows that had fallen in the wind earlier this year, that wood is hard.
Probably got a nights burning once its dry enough.
Relised the new machine will need a bracket made so I can mount it in the vice (quick an easy) for future use.
Started the beast and the bloody "O" ring is leaking again, So will need another looking at, needs a slightly fiker 1 out of me box of rings.
This all means a goodexcuse reason for garage time so not too unhappy.
If the weather holds, we may have a BBQ tomorrow, chicken has been defrosting since yesterday.
Nephew has been introduced to the quad and loves it. 20yrs old and no driving license sometimes don't understand youngsters of today, anyway probably have him driving the fender before he leaves so, he can do the beer runs. Oh, he drinks beer.
But then he had the balls enough to travel Europe across to us, He has said it has made him have to come out of himself and communicate with complete strangers in a different language, doing it alone has built a lot of confidence in himself.
