Golden syrup or salt? Sure my Mum used to make it wif wata too. Or was that cos we was poor
.Oh and wif all this electrickery rubbish going on put it in the slow cooker overnight and they would pay you to make it

Horrible modern crap. When I lived in scottyland briefly in 1975 I used to get whole meal porridge, very tasty. And you could make it with proper lumps.Open sachet of porridge and pour into bowl, add milk, then microwave and serve

Bout the only time I eat porridge these days is when I go camping. Mainly cos it's light and fills you up for a day of fell tramping.

I actually had a porridge pot this morning as I needed something quick before the hospital. Tesco branded. Quite nice to be fair.

No, I CAN weld, (you can't feck around with kit cars without knowing how to weld, at least stick). And i have mig too.
I have welded all sorts of cars, but if W is offering to pay to get some other sucker to weld new sills etc into the Annie i am not going to turn it down!!
I think the term "Bramah" came from some of the first flush bogs.
Well here it is, and i am proud to say he was a Yorkshireman!
Maybe the term isn't so well known outside of Yorkshire!
