Is there a market for that kind of thing?
Not your 4 day inside out back to front 1s probably not.

Not even after a boil wash?
Not quite sure you have the hang of this discussion.

If a pair of my old skants are worth something I’m going to have to look at the marketing side of it
That’s the LUL way… the inverse pyramid of management… one bloke to do the job and the remaining 78 levels are ‘management’…Only did the one LUL job, when I was parachuted in to help sort out a job which had lost its way. That was in 1999/2000. Wasn't impressed with LUL (dis)organisation, and managed to avoid that theatre of war from then-on.
I'm glad I've lived a sheltered life

But when it's just your income in the household whilst the other half is retraining it's eye wateringHate to say it, but that's quite cheap, for some people!
Yes @Stanleysteamer told me about itIs there a market for that kind of thing?
Urrrk!
WTAF?
You were outbidDon’t come all innocent with me!! What about the pants you tried selling me last year that you claimed once belonged to Susan Boyle?
You just had to go and do it didn't you?
Not saying it isn't and not trying to diss you in anyway. But when it's just your income in the household whilst the other half is retraining it's eye watering
No i feckin didn't!Yes @Stanleysteamer told me about it
I needed special coatings 9n mine for screen work and that's was the main cost. If I changed the lenses with the coating I needed it would work out the same. 40 per lense 35 per coating and the OTC scan as I have eye issues in the familyNot saying it isn't and not trying to diss you in anyway.
We as pensioners have to think twice about it as we both need varifocals. And I have cataracts approaching!
So that is why ours are more money than that.
The frames cost the money though and if you can bear to keep your old frames they might be able to simply get you new lenses and fit them which would be a whole lot cheaper. This is what Wifey does. Me? I just buy a pair with the cheapest frames, within reason, and make them do for ages.
Maybe this'll help next time.
