Yep eggactly, but without the halfords sticker oh and its not blue either:D. Black bit turns over and it all goes in a little plastic "briefcase" type thing and stows neatly.

We have used it for cooking prawns for a starter at the table on a cast iron flat plate while waiting for the BBQ to cook mains:).

Aha!
Well our barbie has a single gas burner off to one side so we can do whatever needs to be done from the same gas cylinder. Before I installed our kitchen in Fr, our "kitchen" was this barbie, a toaster, a microwave, a kettle and a slow cooker. worked quite well!
You could do fancy gueridon work with this.
Steak Diane and Crepe Suzette anyone?
My God, just googled this and you can't even see it or read about it! It is as if it never happened!
aha, misspelled it.
this is fun!

Reading this thing about guéridon service took me back. Even had to make a fruit salad at the table, cutting everything up with a knife and fork, (look no hands!) and had to peel the orange in one go!
Guests loved it!
At least you normally got a good tip.
And everytime you flambéd something they'd say "Don't you ever singe your eyebrows?" and thought they were being funny!
:D:D:D:D:D

Gas burner on the BBQ is cheating;)
We cooked outside on a cheap B&Q BBQ from the UK for the first 6mths then when we did get in the house 2 temp kitchen with upgrades each time before the final 1:D. Running water and a drain for 2nd was a bonus;).

But here you go Xmas lunch on the BBQ in the summer kitchen. forgot the stuffing before taking the pic it was in the little oven:).

Xmas 2015.jpg

So yes we know what you can do with very little:D.

Edit...Dont know why the pics are upside down and not gonna fix it now:p

Looks very nice!
Gas burner on a gas barbecue. Seems kinds normal to me! (Mobile thing on wheels.)
I much prefer the taste of food grilled on a wood barbie but they are more of a faff to get going. With a burd I knew, before meeting W, I was doing a barbie in the back garden of my old house, usual small, cheap, round thing with briquettes.
Got so frustrated with it not wanting to get hot I threw a bottle of the lighter fluid. Without looking. It landed on the table knocking the wine over etc. The burd nearly turned the hose on me.:(:(:(
Ideally I'd like a built in thing with vine stocks to burn. We have so much dead fruit wood we could use now.
I think you can buy kits to build them from with bricks blocks etc and a chimbley. From places like "Monsieur Bricolage".
This sort of thing.

Yes we have Bricolage here and plenty of those types of things around at other places, Ours is "custom":D and like alot of things not quite finished yet;) as it functions for now:).

Good thing M isn't like W then. ;)
She goes mad with me if I make something that works but is still "unfinished" or "temporary"! She grizzles every time it gets used and bitches about the long term projects that aren't finished.
Like the utility room here and the master bathroom over there!
Despite the fact that I never have the time to work on them as I am always helping here with her (usually garden) projects.
So what stone or bricks did you make it from?
We have lots of loose granite going begging on our land which it would be very appropriate to use if it would work. I suppose I'd have to stick it together with some sort of fireproof cement or summat? As you can tell, i have never done this sort of thing before!

...the CH rework is completed. A couple of "hairy moments" though.
We had a failed solder joint, a leaking air-bleed valve and a boiler safety cut-out. :(
All overcome, and the work is completed. :)
Roasty-toastie all over the house and the TRV's and the Magnaclean unit are all installed. :D
Whole system will need re-bleeding after a day or two. But its all done and this should help to reduce the energy bills overall. :)
