How's WSR doing ?

I hope he doing ok ... I know he posted yesterday, but I read that at a silly hour even for me ...
I'm doing well. I'm now retired. I still can't eat much, so I drink my meals. I can swallow with no problems but my sense of taste is all messed up, many foods tasting like sh!t. I hike the hills looking for wild edible and medicinal plants, fossils and gold. When not hiking, I'm on my mountain bike or working on the Ranch getting ready for Armageddon. Hunting seasons are beginning and I am looking forward to a lot of time afield to put food in the freezer hunting and fishing as my pension is meager. Pathetic, actually, considering I've been working for 50 years.
My weight was down to 138 pounds from 170 pounds at the end of the cancer treatment but is back up to around 150. So, things are good. Plus, September is glorious in Colorado!

Afternoon folks:).

Been working outside today as it was rather nice, still worked up a sweat though:).

Some good news......... I dont stink anymore:D. Yep its an even day so we got water (they seem to forget even days over the weekend:rolleyes:) So we both got through the shower and now we both smell fresh:D.

Went and looked at a job to help out a Dutch lady in the next village on Saturday. She needs a hot water tank, shower, sink and washing machine point.
The Builder (bulgarian) has put in all the pipework:eek: but never connected it to the main supply with a valve, yep they can be right ****s sometimes.
Anyway told her its easy doable (wont look pretty but its an extra outside building anyway) Just need to know where the pipe is in the ground, I told her she needs to deal with it cos he dont like me;). He came round to quote for a job at Ms friends place over the road and he said he needed 5-6days/3guys I said Bollocks. His next line was its hard work:rolleyes:. I turned round and looked at my place and said "you think I dont know that" told him 3days max and 30% of the quoted price. He was not happy, got it done with somebody else with 3 guys 2 days at less than the 30%:D.
So the Dutch lady now sees she is being taken for a ride and doesn't want him to do anymore work.

There are ripoff builders everywhere and many here pray on expats. We have introduced her to our good guys:).

Apart from that, still warm but not so warm you cant work in it, have retired the shorts for the summer;). And all the landys are behaving, what's not to like doing what we want when we want:D.
Hope all are enjoying whatever they are doing too:).
