Wifey and I once did a channel crossing, the top bunk had such a slope on it I thought i was going to slide out.
We complained and they gave us a crossing for two and a car free, any crossing we wanted. So we looked for the most expensive one they did. It was to Oireland, so off we went. Vomit comet all the way there and back two weeks fun, although it was rather wet! Brill!:):):)
Not sure they'd do this nowadays.:(

Journey wasn't all that smooth but nothing that cost us money or wasted much time..
Having a break after sweating in the sun unloading the vehicles.
Still got the blasted central heating to finish fixing. :rolleyes: Why oh why can you switch it off when you leave then when you come to tyurn it back on again it refuses? Sensitive bastid!:mad:
