Things you do when you are bored.....
Sometimes at tea in my prep school we used to challenge each other to make up the worst sandwich possible out of what was on the table. So it usually ended up being butter, jam, marmite, salt, pepper, sugar, etc. the guy who couldn't eat it lost!:D:D

Made some grub:
Tonight’s ‘will it look similar’ was a chicken dish, based on Chicken Chasseur…

Served with left over veg cooked in cream & butter, it was very good!

Note to self: Don’t pick up the oven-proof frying pan 30 seconds after you have removed it from the oven…

Yer me too hate them & cooked cabbage (dont mind it raw with a kebab) covered in sauce :D
I used to hate sprouts too, until I met Wifey and she showed me how to prepare and cook them properly.
The bitterness is in the outer leaves and far too many peeps leave far too many of them on the sprout.
Take them all off then put a cross cut in the base of the stem, boil them in salty water for a little bit, lovely. Even better served by then lightly sautéing them with a few cut up bits of bacon!

Here's a thing, since leaving boarding school, the only time I have ever worn PJs was during the last 5 years or so of my first marriage. (Which only lasted 7 years!)
Kind of says it all really!!!!!!
Re the blocks of ice thing, do sympathise. not for myself as I don't have the problem, but Wifey does. And I did go to bed a few times with a Danish burd in Copenhagen who also wore them, but only them. (didn't even notice for the first couple of nights!;))

Bet you looked like wee willy winky....
