Sorry to hear this. I hope your dear wife recovers in time for this evening.well......
today should have been a great day, off into the Minervois for a wine tasting and buying then lunch at a noo place, off to more WT & B in the p.m then off to some jazz in the evening.
The morning went fab, the blokey we know very well and he thought it was funny that we were talking him down his own list of produce asking him to produce the wines we wanted to taste, us having known them that long. Had a lovely chat as well. He gave us a decent discount, as usual.
Bought a fair bit o wine including some very expensive stuff as if we have to pay £1.60 per bot to get it back why not do that on posh stuff?
Then off to lunch. First course great, then halfway through the 2nd course W starts throwing up the chips, more or less one by one.
This is a place that we emailed and told them she was allergic to fish and gluten and we reminded them when we arrived. They managed to avoid it on the 1st course. (chips are often coated in flour to make them crisp.)
So she went and sat in the car while I paid the bill through gritted teeth. and she carried on throwing up most of the way home, (over an hour).
So now home waiting to see if she'll recover enough to be able to go to the jazz. On past record she won't. So that'll be another €50 down the drain!
Hey ho. Fucking allergies.
So we'll see what happens.
hope the rest of you have more fun than this!!
Cheers mate. it'll be something new if she does. Normally the stuff gets as far as her stomach then causes problems that can last days. Maybe, just maybe this new development will have prevented this.Sorry to hear this. I hope your dear wife recovers in time for this evening.

I've just finished sending them an email so they can avoid doing it to some other poor buggre!Or they was cooked in the same oil as fish, Hope she feels better soon. But alas as you know better her reactions, best you crack a bottle and settle down.
J

Re-fitted me refurbed and blinged up rear step on the tratter this morning. Works proper anorl, unlike the seized up lump of rust that it was. Then gave her indoors jam jar an oil change. Rest of the day off I reckon
