I really don't miss the A34 in the morningHappy Friday….
well let the fun begin. Already against it today sat nav showing roads (A34) closed.
Now if I cut through the country side & make a nice day of it I wonder how many caravans will slow me down even more?
be safe & enjoy the incoming sun
Not ex-Dibble and no axe to grind but... if he's that bladdered that he's staggering then I would let the plod know the make colour and index number and let them deal with him, before he kills some innocents. My neighbour is an alcoholic. He lost his license 17 years ago and got done recently for teaching his son whilst clattered, apparently got off because he is recently widowed, remote location etc. I’m wrestling whether to just shop him as he’s just zigzagged to his car. The is semi-rhetoric as I know exactly what you are going say - ffs Any ex dibble on here who can offer advice as it’s starting to push my blood pressure up.
Was in Winchester end.. lorry off the road & through a bush.I really don't miss the A34 in the morning

Higher standard charge to cover the cost of energy companies going bust. They din't have the funds to hedge the system, which is the meffud we use in the uk to buy un sell gas/lectric.Have a look at this
Look at the changes to the standing charges!

Doubling the charge? Is this cos the wind didn't blow hard enough last year or summat?

Turn stuff off, use less leccy n gas, put an extra jumper on. And take less baffs. Eat stuff that don't need cooking. Visit friends when it gets too coldHave a look at this

We moved to a little bungalow and our costs have reduced by half if we did what you suggest, we could half them again!!Turn stuff off, use less leccy n gas, put an extra jumper on. And take less baffs. Eat stuff that don't need cooking. Visit friends when it gets too cold
Same here, moved into me bung six n a half years ago. Modernised the heating with a new combi boiler, new rads, lots of new double glazing, extra insulation in the loft. Biggest bonus is the living areas are south facing with lots of windows so it gets solar heating throughout the year, even in winter sunny days warm the place up nicely. We moved to a little bungalow and our costs have reduced by half if we did what you suggest, we could half them again!!
