Mmmmm V8
TBH I am still amazed how quiet the feckin thing is.Mmmmm V8
Does it not rumble as a V8 should?TBH I am still amazed how quiet the feckin thing is.
Just looked up an old thread for someone else and it might be that I haven't started it since 2018 0r so.
Bloody amazed it started without a lot more work.. And I deffo haven't put any fresh petrol in since then.
Still totally amazed.
But God is it mouldy inside., even though under a tarp. Condensation is a reet bugre.
Only ever bought it as a project. Will I ever get the time and have the physical ability to get it sorted? Age is such a bugre.
It'll be very inneresting seeing how you do this!
Wot you planning to do to it? Supercharge? Chip toon? Or summit more basic, like sticking a V8 innit?
I can only think of what that sort of power would have been like in my old skool Mini! Feck off mad!Its turbo charged already, it has a fancy induction kit which gives up to 20bhp
Contacted a chap who has a engine with over sized pistons that leaves bigger turbo,
upgrade the actuator spring,intercooler/sports cat & my mate will remap it
just spoke to him we think we could get near 400 lbft of torque. May need to throw a
better clutch in it. I will have it mapped so its running bigger power when the sports
button is pressed.
Oh it does rumble, very nicely, but very quietly. Then it's got two cats on it etc etc. Only know this cos I looked under it to see where the starter was in case I needed to give it a clout with an ammer. (S reg)Does it not rumble as a V8 should?
Only until you wake up and find its Nora BattyIs she the one in the miniskirt and fishnet stockings serving the whisky?
