It's pleasantly bright out today and is NOT raining.

As I write the sun has now come out, almost looking as if it is asking ''Did you enjoy all that wild weather?''

Somehow I have to find a way of getting down into town to do some shopping - our little road is closed as they try to remove all the fallen trees and repair the damage to both sides of an old stone bridge which crosses a deep ravine. The official detour is many miles long so local knowledge will hopefully reduce that.
Sorry to hear about Dippy's dad's setback.

Lovely morning here so far, making chilli in slow cooker for later, putting new battery on car today as well. Got a cam belt to do but putting it off till the weather gets warmer.

. Bit useless if I cant sort the petrol leak so off in to the garage in a minute

If they skipped them they prolly bust them, didn't want the work of sorting them and supplying and fitting new ones, then they just fecked off anyways.

...that the mill has proven a little frustrating in use.
Several times the chuck has parted from its taper while slot-cutting, ruining the work-piece and causing ill-temper on my part.
Oh for the arrival of the collet-chuck.
