Oh no we don't. Frogland has more restrictive regulation than one can possibly imagine, this dating back to the Napoleonic laws. The Frogs appear to demonstrate against/ignore the rules but in reality they always cow-tail to Paris. Have you ever tried buying a new car in France? And don't mention their employment laws and taxation system...they're a nightmare.

The UK's low regulatory levels are ideal for open/liberal markets...and long may they last.

Well said. I stand corrected mon brave:)

I am completely out of 6, 7, 8mm masonry drill bitz. After many years and drilling zillions of holes, all bitz in those sizes are well and truly cattle trucked. Time to bin the old ones and off to wix for some new ones.
Seeing the quality of new ones are the old uns too rubbish to be sharpened?
I know, typical Stan-type answer!!!

Just put my car on fleabay, why do people ask silly questions? have you got a buy it now price? No, if I had one in mind I would have added buy it now
How much buys it today cash? 1200, never heard from him again, what did he expect me to say. come and get it cheap mate seein as it's you ?
It's an auction, 750 starting bid then if you want it you bid more than that till the bidding stops, simples
Hope you sell it.;)
One person I knew who spent all her time buying and selling on eBay said you get more bids if you put it on with no reserve/starting bid. So it'll be interesting to see how you get on.
Best of luck!:):):)

Got a bargain on the bay once, with a car I bought for dottir when she finished uni. It was a pug 106 4 years old, full dealer service history and only 4k on the clock, and faultless. It was advertised as NO REVERSE and got no bids. As it was local to where I was working I had a look and got it for £3200. That was a good few years ago though. And it had a private plate on, which is now on me tratter

Nice, and how did you fix the no reverse situation?

You just cannot make car ads up can you?
I love the ones where the car is an "MOT failure" and all it needs is a new tyre and a ball joint.
Money for old rope!!!
You can get bargains round here as so many belong to old folks (of which we have loads) who bought them new to "see them out" and then drive them very few miles, garaged in between. Just shopping trollies most of them but OK for a kid. Often see them advertised in local shop windows, or on Tesco's board.;) (So you can tell they ain't internet savvy.)
Car dealers must snap a lot of em up!:(
