Ha ha. No I've just mailed a trader on ebay to see how long the cig cable is on the mini ceramic demisters. For this winter I'll just screw one either side into pillar holes and get a dual extension cig socket (if wires are long enough.
So how many amps are you intending to pull through yer cig socket?
Watts = volts x amps.Ha ha. No I've just mailed a trader on ebay to see how long the cig cable is on the mini ceramic demisters. For this winter I'll just screw one either side into pillar holes and get a dual extension cig socket (if wires are long enough.
Fair to say, some peeps don't know when to stop. Too much money!!!Left wing? Ah dun't wear Sandals.
Am not against peeps enjoying themselves. A box of fire works int back garden is ok but when yer go mad and start letting oft bigger display ones it's too much. When I was little we only had them once and we was too scared of them. Bit much fer 3 years oles. Tw*t over the road bought loads but fergot the kids want sparkles int sky, not bangers. Took him 3 nights to finish what he bought.
Enough to keep the inside really warm , I should imagine.......at least until the Fire engine turns up.
Cheers
Watts = volts x amps.
If yer ceramic eater uses 10amps and the engines running...
14volts X 10amps int going to be much help at 140watts eat. Tis fek all.
In a drafty damp cold tratter with frozen windows it will be more effective than the headline 140watts, to melt the frost, but not worth bothering with int me opinion. Once it's melted it will struggle to warm up further.
Yer need to be careful ont power consumption. Ah dun't have the wiring diagram in front of me fer a tratter... But yer probably find the fuse fer the fag @Nig socket is 10amp. The cable supplying the 10amps won't normally be rated to take much more than this. If these are the values... then a 15amp heater won't be an option. Too much current down the wires will overheat them if the fuse doesn't blow first (assuming the fuse is correctly rated... It should be).We all get by by taking the odd risk, so not fussed about frost as I live in that there suburbs where luke warm water is a plenty. Same with tinned defroster. I mean, we can all come up with reasons not to use anything. It's the condensation I have a problem with, and I've tried to stop breathing but it doesn't work.
Low consumption, energy saving and overheat protection.

Bit more4 serious than I though then. Cheers for that.Yer need to be careful ont power consumption. Ah dun't have the wiring diagram in front of me fer a tratter... It should be).
Putting a higher rated fuse in isn't an option. The fuse protects the weakest part of the circuit which is the cable. Yer would need to run a new power cable fer yer new eaters and fuse it correctly.
well done!I likes fixing things and taking them apart to see what's int side. Ah bought meself a length of clear pipe to fit ont me dehumidifier. Twos a tight fit and ah were worried about snapping oft the plastic pipe so ah took it apart so I could support the plastic pipe while forcing the pipe on it. Pipe were still tight and ah din't av a funnel to stretch it so ah used a window sealer nozzel to stretch it a bit. Not enough but it elped. Problem solved with help from fairy liquid.
Are you going to buy it a little jacket?Bought meself a new cold chisel.
Kept it int ouse by the eaterAre you going to buy it a little jacket?

Yep. And me chips is done now.Great combo on a cold night
