On a serious note, we will have to take our dog to the vet tomorrow. She kept stumbling and falling as her back legs gave way. She is 13 but she has been fine until this evening. Has anyone experience of Collie dogs and probable causes?
:(
Our collie has dodgy hips. Medication has made it like a puppy some days.
You can use devils claw as medication for joint pain

Hi @kevstar :)
Yes, feeling a lot better thank you. The whole eye/nose area is sore and tender and the right eyebrow side of the socket is gashed quite badly.
I can now open the right eye and see a fair bit through it. The swelling is going down too!
I suspect that I shall have a gnarly old scar there over that eye.
Serves me right for drinking on an empty head.

Ah these things happen another war wound eh auld chap, ive had a few sore faces the last one
the dogs nail caught me just a few mm from my eye & cut me right open going right between my
eyes up my forehead that was in the summer, what a mess that was. I got some right funny looks lol
& the scar is fading.:)
Thats really good your eye is open so soon & you can see thats a blessing. :):)

It has been suggested to me that rather than admit that it was all my own fault; I should let on that I gave my wife "cheek" and she gave me a back-hander. ;)

While (for the giggles) that is very tempting I won't because she has been a tremendous sport about the whole thing. :)

& then bonded to the base/top ive 3/4s of a bucket of shattered glass plus half of my wet n dry
hoover filled. I cant find a replacement glass of that colour been looking briefly at noo showers.

Have you searched for the manufacturer?

Kev, old tyre whacker, would you mind reminding us why this is re the tyre repair gunk? I know it's true for run-flat tyres too. Just can't remember the reasoning behind junking the tyre.

Its all bollox tbh, they say the chemicals will affect the bonding of the glue for the repair.
You can wash it out with water & clean with buffsol or brake/carb cleaner, then repair it
ive done it loads of times. Run flats can be repaired but I never took a chance as they are
only meant to be driven for 50 miles then binned, but peeps lie about the miles so try somewhere
else or buy a noo yin.
