Morning, off to my mother's today. We are taking the new car for ride to see how good the heater is
Have fun everyone!
Snot a Tratter then...
Well here's the weird thing.
In the early 90s I was feeling a bit flush so went to a Classics and Vintage garage and did something I'd never done before, I treated my self to an old Beemer. A mk1 528. Green. Very nice motor, went like stink.
After about 1 1/2 years got fed up of the fool consumption and various niggly problems so I flogged it through a mate who did valeting. told him he'd get 10% of whatever he flogged it for.
I paid £650 of thereabouts when i bought it.
When I gave said mate the keys to it he said "If I were you, I'd keep the keyring, might be worth a bob or two." Thought not much of it but did as he said.
He flogged it we were both happy and I chucked the keyring in a drawer and forgot about it.
Today, came across it and out of curiosity did a search ont internet.
Here's mine

FUCK!
And he has loads of key-rings advertised, only one other matches it in price, a Porsche.
I is hanging on to it. Mine is just as good condish as his.
I am watching it on the Bay and if it comes in at the price than that is twice what I paid for the BM and exactly what I paid for the last Disco I bought.
Mad or what!
(I know, it won't happen, bla bla bla!!!)
Us boys weighed in a frogeye sprite back in 80s. Av kicked mesel a fu taimes fer thattun.Linky isnt worth a ****, Mind you nors the key ring but then theres nowt stranger than collectors.
I am sure we have all binned stuff in our younger days that peeps are paying an arm n leg for now.
Cast Iron fireplaces, Internal doors, big cast iron baths on legs to name a few that I remember myself chucking in skips.

Can you do a temporary repair wiv some Araldite?Mornin all.
Arwen didn't really come to much here yesdi, though the council cancelled the Crispmus lite switch on, which dint interest me anyway. Ha bumhug..
Fool tank has sprung a leak, bastid. That's another wedge I hadn't planned on spending before Crispmus (yeah, I know, shouldn't have bought a bloody Tratter..) The floor will be coming out, so at least I can replace the diff lock switch at the same time. Silver linings hey?
Dottir is bringing her car round in a bit to change some lamps, the one on the front is accessed through the wheel arch! FFS..
Oh. An I'm havin another toof out Tuesday.

Sorry about the linky. Not my fault, dumbass eBay. so to let you know, the dealer has his up for £1250. and a load of others for strong money including one Porsche one for the same price. Apparently it is a very rare BMW motorsport one from 60s/70s.Linky isnt worth a ****, Mind you nors the key ring but then theres nowt stranger than collectors.
