Another wet day seems to be on the cards although it is too dark to see just how wet it is - perhaps it should stay that way.

Strange looking day today. Everything looks yellowy-gold out there.
I may go help out at my sons today as Thom is running behind schedule.

So the top brass has phooked off to Lunnen and left me with the shopping delivery. Not my area of expertise and quite daunting…think I’ll have a cuppa and build up to this

Well I’ve managed to stuff it in cupboards and find space in the fridge. She’ll go mad when she gets home. Anyway too bad, I’ve just had palpitations dealing with that lot. I’ve got a list of jobs to do and a couple of hours of paid work with a deadline, coffee, ponder and I’ll prolly end up doing neither in exchange for a day watching Gold Rush

Cheers, we are enjoying the quiet to be fair. The place goes to sleep at 8.00pm and I am still up before the rest of the village
The local pub does excellent food and they know us already.....

Afternoon folks
Back home safe early hours of the morning.
Long queues at the passport/covid checks coming in then I find I had interpreted the gov website wrong so had to go back in today to get a PCR test or isolate for 10 days. Anyway done now so all back to normal.
Now to make some appointments for zoom to set details to the wills and discuss (quickly) with tax planner @250+/hr the best way to keep the money, still very confusing so hope they do an idiot guide.
Suns out and it is just right for getting the last bits done outside just need a couple of days of this.

and you sound happy, with the whole muddle in the past nowHas everything got its home now? or is the furniture still trying out different places
.At least you have some good grub when you cant find the stuff you need in the kitchen and just say sod it "we are off down the pub"
