Best wishes for you both and especially for your Dad's surgery.
Ta, I’d be better if he’d turn his bleddy radio down a bit, I can hear it in the next room

Took doggy to vet with heart in mouth. Mine not hers!
It appears her wound is healing OK and the drain came out fine. After a good clean up I was sent on my way with yet more antibiotics and instructions to wash her every day with Hipiscrub.
PHEW!
Wifey off to her sewing group so taking it easy, keeping an eye on the pooch, having cleaned out her cage and replaced her blanket with another one.
May have a bash at fixing the cool-box whose switch played up on the last leg of our journey back. It is so big and was so cheap we won't be able to replace it easily, as usual, "they don't make em like that anymore". If I can't fix it I'll prolly wire it direct as we never use it on "warm" or anything else.
Also chasing other peeps for stuff.
Had a row via "chat" with a wimmins from Norton as they want to renew my protection for exactly twice what I can buy it from PC World. She gave me the usual bullsh!t reasons. At least I can continue with them up to 60 days (as they have already renewed it) then cancel it for no charge, so I think I'll get MacAfee again from PCW and do what I usually end up doing. Stoopid. Thought the govt was bringing in some law so that loyal customers don't get shafted like this? About time they did.
Grape juice sample is REALLY sharp. I am not keen on it but Wifey likes it. I'd rather keep the enamel on my teeth!
Talking of which, i ain't been to a dentist since Covid started so now I think I'll make an appointment, if they'll still see me!
Enjoy the rest of your day. Been rainy here the past two.

He is deaf you know.
Good call...yes, I do
I’ve waited until he’s snoring then I’ve snuck in and turned it down enough so I can’t hear it in the front bedroom
So are we!
She seemed to be very well in herself, trying to run around like normal etc. But nice to have it confirmed.
howz ya mum and dad by the way?
Are there not specified targets for these operations? They are doing great thanks for asking, dad has been for a 10 mile walk yesterday they had very little
covid symptom's, im glad but my dad would say he was well even if he wasnt.
Mum is waiting for a date for her hip replacement sooner the better as she is in a lot of pain.
Tis cr@p when you cant help.
Are there not specified targets for these operations?
MY NHS trust failed to meet the target and had to pay for mine to be done privately at the local BUPA place.
Strangely, I got the same NHS surgeon, the same NHS anaesthetist as I would have done on the NHS, but just in the BUPA place.
Private single room, and much much better.
My brother has Osteoporosis and he is getting the same "private on NHS" care as the NHS has failed to meet its target.
The thing (when mine was done) was the elapsed weeks from "referred for surgery" to it actually happening was failed. They went many weeks over the allowed target-time.Im not too sure on the timeline for these things, we have a friend who works in the care sector
& she has just done a load of paperwork so hopefully we will see progress within a couple of
weeks. We do know that its the same surgeons ect doing private & NHS treatments they must
be making fortunes, well deserved that they t@tts getting mega wonga for kicking a ball about.
