A darn sight better than the crumbly rubbish you just removed. Well done you!New garage window partly installed at sis in laws. New sub frames at the sides, painted timber to look almost exactly but not completely totally unlike real plastic. Minor adjustments to the window frame required tomorrow, then get the glass back in and fix the side fascias. Sealant and mortar underneath the sill to follow when I feel like it

New sub frames at the sides, painted timber to look almost exactly but not completely totally unlike real plastic. Busy wee day well err for a few hours, gassing & having breakfast rolls in the boat yard.
I spent a few hours going to get gelcoat & resin then making a colour that the owners were happy with.
Sanded the fibreglass floor an noo coating applied.......

Minimum £400 sovs for a made to measure window. Got this one for 100 sovs. Good enough for a garage window. And there's several months waiting for a noo one at the mo.
