SWMBO is about to depart for high wycombe, visiting eldest dottir for the weekend. So I am responsible for looking after me for a few days. Anybody know how long I should boil fishcakes for?

Nothing much to report; slept ok-ish, the ortho-pillow feels "ODD" and will take some getting used to.
Adam's support collar on its way as an alternative (thanks @derwendolly).
My youngest is asking for DIY help at his place, we have agreed that I will grunt & point at things and he will do what I tell him.
Got the quotes in for the fencing "parts" >£1100. Plus Thom's labour @ £150/day.

Ok Im now officially banned from using the washing machine and tumble drier
Last night I chucked all my working gear into the machine, but before filling it I chucked all my
clothes outside the utility room in the pizzing rain so it was all nice n wet...
Machine loaded an seen the setting was at colours & switched on or so I though.
When I was going to bed I remembered aboot my troosers so in the pitch darkness I
took them from the machine & threw them into the tumble drier. Turns out I dint switch
the machine on covered the clothes in sticky liquid & threw my manky troosers covered
in cement dust in the tumble drier.
They might not be clean but they aint dusty was my reply.
I thought I done a great job.

We have lit the fire, only under the pretense of a test run, but not sure we were convinced that is the real case. Weather is garbage today.

Bet part of your sentence will be community service: emptying out the filter on the washing machine, as well as the one on the tumblydriver and the water from said latter.

Order just been delivered. Lovely Gammon joint for Christmas day, plus, having substituted my sirloin steak with a rump, we also found a sirloin in there too. So we is a steak up!!!Bought some 3 for £10 meat joints; will cook, slice and put in portion packs for the freezer ...
Why don't you just freeze your joints as they are, then defrost them as and when? Just askin!!
