why do they have to try an reinvent the wheel
It's jobs like this that are pushing me to buy a reciprocating saw. I have an underused compressor already.Got the exhaust job done. Two hours on the ramps, cutting through the mid section pipe with a mini hacksaw - very awkward access, awkward working position lying on me back, and five minutes to put the new silencer on. Job jobbed.
Funny you should mention that, I posted before getting to the end of the thread, as usual, though I'd bet a reciprocating saw against a replicating saw any day!2 hours I have a dewalt replicating saw takes seconds to chop through exhausts wee bit longer
for scaffold tubes, very handy bit of kit.
Like this one?????Afternoon folks.
Another day working away in the sun, but it was nice, as we all know the weffa is turning ,our walnuts trees are showing yellow leaves and starting to drop them . Need to look at checking out the CH next month to make sure it still working may need to sweep the chimney.
The cooling off pool is still working its holding 27 at the moment. but its a couple of weeks away from the big cover and then endth summer.
Then its onto the inside job list. Need to concentrate on the east wing this winter. M wants a bath.

Forgot to say, on top of yesterdays travails, to cap it all (haha) one of me gold teefs gave up an came out.

I was gonna say fixing or changing a tyre/inner tube on a barrer ain't difficult........Cloudy but dry but we have been promised a few sunny periods so I'll have to wait and see what 'appens.
Garden clearing on hold 'cos the wheelbarrow has developed a limp - looks like another trip to the tyre menderer. Why do things always go wrong when you most need them.
Wee dog should have been going to the groomer today but that has been postponed until Friday, that suits me better though.
Enjoy your day whatever you're doing.
Ooh a soak in single malt, I’m so jealous.Like this one?????
Garden clearing on hold 'cos the wheelbarrow has developed a limp ...... A limp what !
And strength and dexterity and .....I was gonna say fixing or changing a tyre/inner tube on a barrer ain't difficult........
Then I remembered your aversion to things that need tools!!!
That would need me to raise the front of the car, and my 1970's ramps foul on the front valance of modern cars. I can raise the fronts on moderns by just enough to deal with oil changes by using my special purpose ramps (blocks on planks of wood ), but not enough for an eggs zorst job. Also it would have took much longer to do the intended job. Any road up, the time taken included two long tea breaks -----I would ask, "Why didn't you just take the whole exhaust off, cut it through then put it back on?" But I am sure you have your reasons!
