The last roof I painted I used roll on enamel we got a lovely finish.

Does anyone ever experience a smooth passage through the housing market, I ask myself. I have never had a trouble-free one.
I am so sorry to hear you have joined my club but hang in there and the slow grinding cogs will eventually work out. Is it the sale or the purchase that's giving the present hold-up?

It is still dark but I do believe the rain is, at least temporarily, having a break although the ground is very damp.
I'm out to lunch today so need to be up early to walk the dogs and then feed them before I set off on a long drive to get over to England by 12.30.
I hope your day goes well and that you get everything done on time.
