Was everyone called Ginger and sporting a smashing ‘tache ?? Tally-hoo_O
Well not the 13 yr olds, no!
But you did get to wear a flying suit and "chat hat"
The gilt was knocked off that gingerbread (!) by having to walk out to the Chipmunk strapped to your chute. It made you bend over and waddle like a duck! and only those who have had to do it will know what that was like!!:D:D:D

Just discovered that a friend has Stage 2 C... :(

I've done the only thing I can and offered an ear to them should they ever need it.
It may not mean the end, although stage 2 is pretty cr@p.
My bruv has just had all his intestines, bladder etc removed and is in remission, at home, waiting till he is fit enough to get in his camper van and drive off into the sunset! so he had stage 4 and is now in remission.
So don't give up hope, they (medics) can deal with it a lot better then they used to.
But still, you'll know that I know how you feel so sympathies mate and yes, that is about all you can do. If you live nearby you can try going round and taking his mind off things. that's what we did with a friend who lived in Bath. (She recovered in the end.)
According to this,
https://www.cancer.net/navigating-cancer-care/diagnosing-cancer/stages-cancer
Wifey had stage 2 breast cancer and she is still around. So your mate may well recover. The stats are pretty much in his favour, depending on what type he has got or where it is.
Any way sympathies mate, and we hope he gets over it.

Edit, now I know, replace "he" with "she"!
