This arrived in my inbox yesterday.

Happy to say the ply delivered is top notchI read the reviews on their ply and they weren’t good. I need a piece of phenolic 18mm 10’x5’ £230
I had some hardwood-faced 12mm ply this year that was really good quality, no voids or "fills" and perfectly flat/straight.Happy to say the ply delivered is top notch
I reckon those days are gone. The timber merchant I went to (but didn't buy from) earlier this week said they are now quoting on daily prices as the market is so volatile for building materials. Probably anything that is imported is in short supply .£24.54 per 8 x 4 sheet.

While it was Sunny 1st thing this morning, it has been overcast and dull all the rest of today hereThe wevva has turned out nice.

Good for you, there is a bloke near us who took over from his dad doing only Starters and Alternators, as you say a one man band.350 quid plus vat, or an aftermarket on for 180 that doesnt fit.
The shop is a one man band he's been doing it as long as I can remember.
Awwww! Double sh!t.Ah ffs it was from my mate who helped carry me into the docs last year when I had..that well ye know.
We used to have such folks round here (known to all the local mechanics) who could rebuild a steering pump, alternator, starter motor.Good for you, there is a bloke near us who took over from his dad doing only Starters and Alternators, as you say a one man band.
So the buck starts and stops with him.
So he is entirely trustworthy.
Wouldn't go anywhere else.
It pays to cultivate these peeps!!
Hope you get it back on the road soon!
That must be cos you live out in the sticks. That's cheap! Ours is now a minimum of £1.34.9p a litre.
You need to train your missus to decramp you.Morning all I awakened with mega painful cramp in my left calf 15mins on an off ffs
bloody sore now im limping about.
Suns ott tis to be 25 degrees here, no way I'll be getting cooked all day early finish me thinks.
Njoy your day peeps.
@Shimsteriom hope you have a better day today lad.
Tis the same in France so not necessarily to do with Brexit.I reckon those days are gone. The timber merchant I went to (but didn't buy from) earlier this week said they are now quoting on daily prices as the market is so volatile for building materials. Probably anything that is imported is in short supply .
So that's one hand on his knee and the other on his balls eh?You need to train your missus to decramp you.
I've been doing it since my rugby playing days at school, in a dorm you could more or less guarantee a bloke would get it every other day.
Wifey gets it in the leg that has the paralysed foot on the end.
Mrs Kevstar just needs to straighten out your leg then put pressure on the ball of your foot until it passes. One hand pushing down on your knee, tother on the ball of the foot pushing it toward the knee to stretch the calf muscle. Hurts a bit till it's gone.
And don't release too suddenly, or too soon.
(The doctor is now "out")
You needs to go to Specsavers! So that's one hand on his knee and the other on his balls eh?
