I think the Tories dream is to raise it until it matches life expectancy. They are doing pretty good job of raising the retirement age before getting pension though.

@kevstar 's your man there!Failed to get a motorcycle tyre on its rim. The last few inches won't pop on

I would agree with that, at least to some extent but when you start paying in with the agreement they will start paying out once you hit 65, and now they are raising it well above that, then it is a fiddle, it means they get more of your money and you get less back.We dont really care if they keep upping it to be honest. But it will affect alot of folks that could do with it
I always believed look after yourself and the 1s you love, dont rely on Gov to provide a nice life.
Still be nice to get some back though.

Took Doggy to vet, she had a really good feel around, couldn't be sure what it was, tried to take a sample, no liquid at all, just a tiny speck of fat.
She thinks it's either a fatty deposit, which is a bit weird or a tiny hernia, that she cannot feel the hole of, but which has been letting fat through.
So nowt to worry about really, just keep an eye on it.
So "Phew".
if you've got a brake sticking on then it will eventually start making a thrum thrum noise.But..... car is making a very low thrum....thrum....thrum noise... there is a strong smell of hot brake pad material
Nice to know, if you see what i mean!Glad that turned out okay
Our boy had a fatty lump, it got big enough that it started hanging so we had it removed in the end. took a quite a few years to get to that point if I remember. He was fine after, not that it bothered him in the first place

I did wonder about that, i said to Wifey, "It could be a sticky piston", if that is all it is a big sigh of relief will go up.if you've got a brake sticking on then it will eventually start making a thrum thrum noise.
as will a tyre if its on its way out
Re your tyre, if you haven't got it fixed yet, have you tried putting a ratchet strap round the circumference and tightening it down a bit then blowing the air into it?if you've got a brake sticking on then it will eventually start making a thrum thrum noise.

tried bouncing.. hitting.. praying.. even considered tempting it by putting my finger in the gap.. but thought better of itRe your tyre, if you haven't got it fixed yet, have you tried putting a ratchet strap round the circumference and tightening it down a bit then blowing the air into it?
Just a thort!
But exercise due care and attention.
Also bouncing the tyre/wheel up and down, with the wheel vertical, while moving it round its circumference, while inflating it?
Expect you'll have done all these things.
They are working hard, just no one is putting their hand in their pocket to pay for it!Hold on, hold on! You can't say your agent is sitting back and doing nothing.
I'm beginning to feel sorry for your dog, its legs are going to be several inches shorter after all these walks every day.
i know you have discussed your principles and think its a very honorable stance BUT.
Accept all offers at asking and first to complete/gives some money gets it.
