Morning All :D
Another lovely day here (so far).
My "massage the rapist" session today has been called off. She's scared of breaking me (because I said there was onset arthritis in my joints). :(
Shame, I was looking forward to having a fit young filly pound my sore shoulders/neck. :(
NVM, I shall have a normal gym session instead. :)
3 Grand-kids from 14:15 , because... teacher training, parent work schedules all that sort of thing.
You all have a splendid day. :D

Gym done..... With a bike ride of 6 miles in 20 minutes (which for me is very good). :)
I need more strength in the glutes and quads (wasted away) so I need to do some lifting I think.
Lunges are supposed to be good. But when you can't do them... where do you start, what's the intro exercise I wonder?
I shall ask the You-Tube/Google conglomerate brain.

Afternoon folks:).

Another scorcher today.
Well the "little man in the shop with everything" let me down this morning:(.

He had the strimmer head great:), but didnt have the little primer bulb:(.
Anyway while on my drive home (decided to take the "mud ball") I got to thinking, while I took the the "longcut" home. Didnt find any mud the ground seems to be really soaking it up.

So Mr Heath Robinson eat your heart out.

I have a rubber glove (think marigold) left from an earlier need;) actually its a right hand as I'm a lefty. Cut the finger tip off and put the split bulb inside, then folded the excess inside, screwed it all back together and Whoooo away we go:). So got some more strimmering done.
So depending on how long the rubber finger can put up with the petrol I have 5 goes at it:D.

Girls gone up the hill in the fender to see some folks, I have just got out of the pool:).

Hope everybody has had a good week and an early finish for some, enjoy the weekend:)

Ministers are consulting on raising the age when people become eligible for free prescriptions in England to 66-years-old - but pharmacists branded the plan 'unacceptable' ...
The Government has launched a consultation on whether to raise the cut-off point to 66-years-old in line with the state pension age.

But the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) said it was "deeply concerned" by the plan - and warned it could leave people without the medication they need.

RPS chair in England Thorrun Govind said: "The proposal to raise the age at which people can access free prescriptions from 60 to 66 means that many more people will be affected by this tax on the sick at exactly the time at which they may be needing more medicines.

"It is unacceptable to raise the cost of prescriptions in the current economic situation when many have been disadvantaged by the pandemic.

A gamechanger for some ... @sorea , @wattfield

A student has designed a potentially life-saving device that can be used to rapidly stop bleeding from stab wounds.

Joseph Bentley, from Loughborough University, has developed REACT, which uses pressure at wounds to prevent blood loss.

The product targets areas that are normally hard to treat, such as those in the armpit, groin and abdomen.

I do hope he owns the patents before some Corporate Big-Boy steals the idea and makes millions.
