While I had a chance today I called the income tax department at me Government to find out what's going on with me tax return as I filed it back in May but haven't heard anything since.
Normally when I owe them some money they are pretty damn quick in requesting it but because they owe me almost £1000 they are dragging their heels.
Apparently the tax returns are being processed in date order but they couldn't tell me where they were currently up to so I would just need to be patient.
