Just watched Ant Anstead put triple Webers on a big Healey.
Why doesn't ever put an air filter on, eh?
So many peeps seem to think old classics don't mind turning an engine into a coffee grinder!
I know space is tight, but the SUs he took off, and threw away, at least had em on.

I can't eat the white of an egg, well not on its own, can't stand it, so a soft egg would make me heave.
Give me an omelette, or scrambled any day, but if boiled, fried or poached, i'd eat the yolk and glare at the white.

It IS partly what he was going for, and he is taking it to auction, so once sold he don't give a feck then does he?! It's why he made up an exhaust with side pipes, as well.
Mind you at the price it will go for, the new owner won't drive it often.
I always have a prob getting decent filters on the twin SUs on my Marlin.
They just sold it for $71k, bought for $35k but spent $9k on it. Nice fat profit.
A rich Yank and his dosh are soon parted!

Guy selling it was a tranny specialist and he refurbed it before sending it over. Did a decent job absolutely can't complain. And he did send over all the other kit that you had to have to go with it. At a decent price. Decent bloke.
(Far to many "decents" in this post. It's positively indecent!)
