Feckin hot here, as it was all night.
Wifey got bit yessdi so no chance of opening any winders.
Dared to open two at 8:30 this a.m. and she got bit 3 times in no time at all. One also bit me on a finger when I went downstairs. and neither of us have seen or heard any little critturs!
Nice brekker, croissants an proper Iitalian Café au lait. (Yes I know that is French bit it was made with Italian coffee)
Then panic.
Need new GHIC cards, eventually managed to get the NHS website working. "ten working days"
Fingers crossed.
Also now need "proper" green card, even though the normal insurance cert still has the thing in French on the back that it always has done saying you are covered.
That'll take a week to arrive anorl!
Now booking lateral flow tests which we need to have negative and within 48 hrs of travel.
So that'll be another £200 then .
What a pain.
