If nettles weren't weeds then you'd struggle to grow them and they'd be £20 in the garden centre
But no they grow everywhere and even if you killum wiv napalm, they're back in next to know time, bigger and better than ever

...and feckin brambles!
We get loads in Frogland, sometimes they go right over the top of our Leylandii hedge from the waste land which is the neighbours.
I finds where they comes out of the ground cuts them off about 4" from the ground then puts neat glyphosphate on the cut tip of it. That seems to settle em for a while.

Just got off the phone wiv dottir whio has just had her second jab, Astrazenica.
The doc told her that one side effect possible is......blood clot(s) which you can get up to 28 days after!
Now I had my second jab 12 days before this all kicked off. Never mentioned it to the doc as thought it wasn't relevant.
Now not so sure. It seems some docs are now saying this and others aren't.
All a bit academic now but if it was that I'd be a bit happier, if that makes sense.
Anyway, it seems this may be summat to watch out for folks!

I've a a very young sparrow crouching underneath my empty window bird feeder, can't work out if it is sheltering from the rain (wouldn't blame it) or waiting for the next fill-up.

Before the corporate raiders at Nestle grabbed it, it was called a "Duncan's Walnut Whip".
You could buy Duncan's with & without the Walnut halves.

All I do is turn the cruise control on and tap me feet. Rock them from heel to toe till either I get bored or a muscle says stop.
Do this couple times an hour.
Yep some days I don’t move out this seat & I walk 50 foot.
Once work is done is when I have a stretch and if quiet have a stroll.

Oh come on! Cruise control is only for use in the inside/breakdown/safety lane @50MPH while you nip in the back of the cab to make a brew or to text a mate or watch a bit of internet porn.
