...I am back from building the "Great Wall of Bedroom" 2.9M x 2.35M 2 x 4 studwork and plasterboard on one side.
I cannot believe how awful the construction standard was on the original build. All the upstairs internal walls are merely 600mm spaced 2 x 2 studs with a sheet of plasterboard either side and a corrugated honeycomb of cardboard egg-box stiffener/separator in-between. You can hear everything going on in the next room through the wall, it is dire.
I have left Tom to "button it up" as my knee is killing me after all this weeks activity and I am (to be frank) fatigued.
But I will be back there Monday to build a wardrobe housing for triple sliding doors etc. But, I do need a bit of a weekend break for sure. :D

Me under coatin be done.

Gorra new free app ter tell me wot me plants and weeds are. Edgar ses weeds are plants yer dun't like. Eye were down takin a pic to see iffit knew worra daffer dill were, and it did. A bobbin landed by me 2 foot away where me roobarb be growing. Am playing it cool. Sed hello but not following him wiv worms ter make feinds like the last one. Fink that scared him oft.

Does that mean you'll be bricking up one doorway just to unbrick another one?
Isn't that just creating work for yourself?
yes to both, though not that much considering whats needing doing in any case, unblocking the old door way is just a matter prising each brick up they are only secured by lime mortar and it would improve the room

I know @derwendolly won't reply but I do hope you're having a nice time. :)
I'm having a lovely time with glorious sunny weather - after Monday's heavy overnight snow. The little caravan park has got progressively busier as the English move in!
I have been quite taken aback at just how much 'work' there is to do with a caravan when it is only one person doing everything - I think there needs to be some form of amendment to the dog's training programme as they are going to have to learn new skills if they are to be of any use to me during the nomad times.

I'm glad you're enjoying yourself :)
