My Defender is Cat D it was stolen recovered but stripped so although not damaged it was recorded as such because of the items that had to be replaced.Just found a Disco on Auto trader Cat D owner states, "stolen recovered 10 year ago, not damage repaired"
Gov .uk checker states "Cat D, not stolen, tick, damaged repaired, tick"
WTF!
Shame as although its a basic model it looks dead good, low mileage, only two owners and passed every Mot, no advisories, for donks except one, on a ball joint.
How thick do people think punters are?
Insurance wise no issues, certainly not with Direct Line anyway
Wrote off my Hyundat Santa Fe in 2015, full value payout by DL, perhaps I was lucky as had a witness so other drivers insurance had to cough upThere are never any issues with DL - until you come to make a claim!!!
