Not disagreeing about the time thing, although even when being scrupulous about the MOT most of the time there is too much time. That's just the technology used to interface. The important thing is the logging in. It limits the number of tests you can do by time. Previously peeps rolled through testing as fast as they wanted, which opened up the option of breaking the rules more easily. Now the details are live yer got to follow the minimum test time. Its also logging time and date to the garage and persons card. The new system is a good thing. Been around a number of years now.
My Brother In Law used to work at about 3 different places as an accredited MOT tester. Even though he is 70+ he still does a few days a week. Not disagreeing about the time thing, although even when being scrupulous about the MOT most of the time there is too much time.
But according to the guy yesterday, the tester can use his card anywhere, no just in the garage he works in, and that is the problem. it USED to be that they had to use the terminal in the garage, but that has gone now.
Sorry, didn't know.My answer to that is 'you and who's army'? I'm out for the quiet life now - very quiet!
I hope you can easily get a certified duplicate.Well I'm not happy.
The Frogs took 2 months to tell me they are "not in possession" of the document they want from me to give me a long term visa. They had it originally in 1981 and hung on to it.
Either one or the other office has either lost it or thrown it out.
And they aren't admitting to anything.
So I've contacted a friend who used to be a Maire to find out what should have happened all this time ago.
so they demand a document for one thing, and then they demand the same one for summat else, and in the meanwhile they lose it.
Stoooopid feckers!
A biting wind today, I agree.Yes but my fingers nearly dropped off
Watcha make?I've been playing in the workshop
