Yes, until it expires and then you have to get the 'Boris special'.What’s that all about then? Won’t my E111 work anymore.

This is the bit that made me believe I could play a USB memory stick.Get the handbook out, is what I say!!!!!!!!!!!
That says you can, so all is good! The devices that you can connect to the
portable audio interface include:
• USB mass storage devices, for example
memory stick.
so that's the first hurdle safely negotiated. That says you can, so all is good!
I too would like to know this.I've got a vast amount of classical CDs and would like to put some of them onto a USB stick so that I can play the music in the car without have to use the original cds - is this possible to do?
so that's the first hurdle safely negotiated.
Now, back to the next problem ie. How to I get the music off the cd and onto the memory stick?
I'm off to wash my hair and have a think - might be gone some time as thinking is not my best trick!
Even wuss if you is watchmaking. The feckers just disappear into thin air! That seems to be a common occurrence in my workshop too! Those screws just love to hide
Yes, there is a cd/dvd player in the car but I was trying to avoid fiddling with the disc when on a long journey, so I thought of putting more than one cd onto a memory stick and just let that play until it gets fed up or I do.I too would like to know this.
I have a lot of vinyl discs which, in the old days, I'd put onto cassette, but since CDs came along I just bought them, as the sound "information" you get is so much fuller than with MP3 files. But I would assume that if you somehow downloaded the info from the CDs onto a pooter and tried to move that onto a USB, you may lose a lot, if you put them into MP3 files.
I really am an ignoramus on all of this. Which is why I am watching this with baited breath!
Do you not have a CD player in your posh Disco 4 then?
And while we are on this, does anyone have a nice design of shock absorbing mount for a CD player? as the one in my Disco 2 does tend to make the odd disc jump/skip from time to time.
(Think maybe this needs its own fred!)
Google has come to my aid! I knew I could think better when I was submerged in the bath.@Shimsteriom has a few spare days before he’s back at work. Put the cds in the post & he can help you
( or give you a good guide or utube video to watch how to)
We too have the old EHIC cards but will need the GHIC cards if we are ever able to go off to France.Got my noo Global Health Insurance Card through today ....
