It most certainly could but you'll never know until you try it.This could derail my whole existence.
I may have misled you there, mea-culpa. The old bag WILL be paying for the machine, so she gets the right to choose, just that she is very wilful and won't be advised that a Beko is half the price and just as good (will certainly see her out.Sympathise mate!
When I used to bring a girlfriend, or a mate, round to the flat I shared in London with 4 other guys, we used to charge them 50p for dinner. (1976) no one moaned, we cooked much better than most students. and it got rid of the free-loaders!!
If she's getting a free washing machine, I'd be tempted to get her what you can afford and say, "If you don't like it, then I'll give you the money and your son can make up the difference, then you can get one made by who you wish. that's only fair isn't it?"
Sorry, but I also had a Ma in law who was a total bag. She also favoured her useless, conniving son over her daughter, Wifey, who really looked after her interests.
Well done for the gate and the glasses!
fixed that for youBedroom skirting boards sanded (roughing only) and undercoat on. That's it for today, I am off to work in the playpen......
Spot on!fixed that for you
Cricket bat and a night shift will sort your problem.... the sodding foxes/badgers just dug under the barrier I put in their way yesterday.
The little Ba$tards!
So today I have dug their little hole a bit deeper and set a paving stone vertically into the hole and backfilled it.
I also creosoted the fence I made and "Accidentally" drizzled a small amount around the slab. That ought to put them off/stop them digging.
We shall see.

Why am I peeved? Well, because all this "buy it for me, make the arrangements, do all this, always falls back on me and not her own son. /rant.
Thought I was having a bad day running out of milk ahead of Ocado delivery at 1300Day off the Disco today, or nearly.
Having finally got to the top and bottom ball joints, the friggin things aren't worn, no movement, just the boots are shot.
Also, in any case, the universal ball joint removal kit, doesn't seem very universal to me. So they are staying put, but with new boots on until after the MOT.
If they think there is movement then I have the spare ones, so I'll have to change em, but all the bits and pieces will come off faster and I will bite the bullet and get heavy with the final part of the job. Talking about the nearside now, haven't touched the offside yet.
And I am so stiff, as I have been doing nearly nothing these past few months that not only can I nearly not get anything off the ground, bending, but even my bum aches.
So new boots ordered.
Weather here yet more high pressure gloom.
About to ring the DVLA and do battle with them about my not replaced licence.
Have a good day folks!
