I would just like to say that my Mrs is fantastic and I would be lost without her!! She just helped me manoeuvre 350kgs of milling machine into the garage from the road where the delivery driver dumped it :)
The garage entrance is on a short but steep slope and we resorted to a manual winch to pull it up and in!

Can we all borrow her "as needed, and when the occasion arises" please?

... The garden obelisk and the weathervane parts both got treated to some black paint this afternoon. :D

It is the last dregs of a big tin of Hammerite Black "hammered finish" that has gone all thick and gloopy.

Note to self...ONLY buy the small tins in future to avoid them setting solid and being wasted.

I was about to say "Do you rent her out?" But realised I didn't want you to get the wrong idea!. she must be worth her weight in Kruger-rands!

I too have an old tin, but mine is the smooth version. and you can get thinners, though not terribly easily, and not in the big tins you used to be able to thanks to the glusniffas.
I will be whacking some on the plated chassis soon.

Not much to show for today.:(
Still trying to make space in the hoose for all the stuff we have.
Spent ages hunting for a pair of trainers (Yes at my fecking age:rolleyes:) that I have worn precisely twice.
Podiatrist says I should wear them around the house with insoles in.
Could i find the feckers? Could I feck! and i know exactly when I wore them, it was for 2 trips to the Chiropractic college a few years ago where I had to do some exercises in the gym.
Looks like i am going to have to order some sort of "house shoes". Decent slippers are a heck of a price as it is. And few places make the sort i like. Can't get the insoles in them otherwise....:(
Why is life so often a case of throwing money at things?:(:(:(
Enjoy the rest of the day/evening!:):):)
