Un there's me thinking things couldn't get any worser...
then a disco owner turns up
I thought all disco owners had a sense of humour?
Er not sure. Which bit is it on your Freelander? The pivot point on the back section of the seat where it connects to the base section, or the front section by yer knee when yer sat ont seat? My seats are different as I changed them so will have a look to see if I have a pic.I fort that Disco owners would need a bit of sense to start with before they got a humour!
Anyway, as some of makes allowances for the very off Gaylanderer, I wonder if Hippypottymouth can help me out here, as a friend has a sheared pivot pin on the back seat bracket on his 4-door Hippo. Does the chrome head bit screw out, or push out so that it can be replaced?
It looks as though it could be an 8mm to M6 shoulder bolt x about an inch long.
Any advice would be welcome.
And no my friend, that is a physical impossibility!!
Agreed, my friend. We are all here to help each other if we canWell done fer fixing yer Freelander. It's little fixes like this that add to the satisfaction of being a DIY owner mechanic.
Everyone beleaves yer.Agreed, my friend. We are all here to help each other if we can
But I remind you once again that IT'S NOT MY GAYLANDERER!!!
... And nowt wrong, apart from just about everything!!Everyone beleaves yer. ...
I don't. There's nowt right and proper about owning a Freelander.
