Stepson recently sent us a pic of himself with an eye patch on, he had a partially detached retina, luckily they seem to have been able to repair it with a laser, but we'll only know when the patch comes off. Can the docs not do that for you? Or is a bit of the retina missing?That was done when I was 5. Didn't help overmuch.

We make ours with semi-skimmed goats milk so can afford a bit of sweetening. Microwave special. Wifey's is purer than mine as she has to have gluten free and it tastes better than mine.
But it is good for you and cuts cholesterol allegedly!
It is the only thing I put any sweetener on, stopped sugar in tea and coffee when a kid and noticed my dad never put it in. That was due to rationing!

So I sacked coffee an sugar as I couldnt get used to the taste without the white stuff.

One of us gets up and let's them out, then goes back to bed and cuddles the other, the dogs get on the bed but there is a duvet and a special dog-hair prevention cover thing on top, so the doggies get a cuddle once they are dry and warm. Mind their coats are so thick and water resistant it takes no time at all!Is the dogs not too cold n wet to cuddle once they've been out

and manufacturers have to include all sorts of sh!t on their labels but no one seems to have passed a law making it necessary for people to be able to read them!

Nope. Optician says its not something they would undertake at my age as the risk of further harm outweighs the benefit to be gained at this stage.
Never said i did it, just that my pa did! Our dishwasher keeps them clean, usually. But decanters are another matter!

Bleach is no good on scale at all, although it does leave it nice and clean!
