Mornin' all, a bit damp and chully oot, but not as bad as it could be ...Happy February ...

Today is the first time in 46 years that my 'special' card will not arrive. My husband never bought me a birthday card - he always made me a 'special', always topical!! They are interesting to look through as they hold a record of every year in our lives together. :)

But life goes on and the wee one's clock went off at 7.05am precisely. It is dry out there and the lying snow has mainly disappeared except for the hilltops. He is accompanied by Lilly the llama , a soft toy with the most raucous squeaker inside which serves as 'is pillow.:)

Can anyone explain what faux or mock lamb is ffs? I don’t eat celery as a rule but don’t have one made from meat so I can enjoy celery. If you don’t eat meat for whatever reason why does your food have to imitate it - I don’t get it #tw@s
I couldn't agree more, that is something I can never understand.:D

Ang ont eye will google that for yer:

"Vegan meat — also called faux, fake, mock, meat analogs, or plant proteins — are products that mimic certain qualities of animal-based meat-like textures, flavor, or appearance, for example. They are made from various ingredients such as soy, textured vegetable protein, or wheat gluten, to name a few."
