Hi mate!Sounds like you have clicked something that wants to fek about with yer phooter and norton din't spot it.
Install trend micro house call. It has a free option to scan yer phooter. Link below. Install selecting free option then allow it to update to latest definition files then run a full scan across all drives.

Made it home.... curry delivery scooter is missing in action.
if only @Shimsteriom could get a proper job
Yes. It sits doormunt in the background. You open it and run it when you want, with the free version. Its probably the best second solution to have installed as a backup. I use agv with it as a second option. Avg runs permanent.Hi mate!
Can i just download that on top of Norton?
Cheers for the link etc.
I bought a welder and had a play with it today
Not welded for a while so quite pleased with the first test pieces.

I use avg internet security. Provides permanent virus scanner and firewall. Includes anti spam and email scanning and a few other bits. No limit on definition file update. No limit to version updates. They don't do the named yearly product update anymore. Just provide it on a rolling update basis when its available.Cheers mate!
Is it AVG or AGV? not that I have heard of any of these things.
I am just a prole when it comes to pooters and i alternate between Macafee and Norton, each year. Typical sheep behaviour maybe.
but it seems to work most of the time.
along with trying to take usual precautions.
which sadly don't always work.
Thanks again.
Thanks mate. again.I use avg internet security. Provides permanent virus scanner and firewall. Includes anti spam and email scanning and a few other bits. No limit on definition file update. In general they all do the same thing but go about it in a different way. Have used most of the popular name ones at home or work over the years. Used macafee for years but it went slow. Moved to norton then that went slow. Been with avg ever since.
I'm happy to pay for them. Yer get support if needed. Also I'm adding my bit to the fight against virus and web crime. Yer also get updates quicker than the free equivalents. They dun't normally have all the features available unless yer pay ferrit.
Get trend micro installed. Run it. It should find the problems. Then see if norton start's working. Thanks mate. again.
Norton is quite cheap and maybe this is coming back to bite me in the bum!
I'll look at AVG, as well.
Ta again, mate.
Cheers once again.Get trend micro installed. Run it. It should find the problems. Then see if norton start's working.
If norton wont work then yer machine is still compromised. Contact norton support as i said above. They will either supply a tool to scan differently and diagnose it or log in and perform checks themselfs.
