I wouldn't worry, I'm pretty sure I int got dolby 5.1 hearing, like I int got 4k eyesight.
Why waste money?
 
Guid afternoon

OK had my daily walk, as yesterday, but then changed oil and filter on my Aprilia RSV Mille, so no groundhog day (but will possibly change oil and filter again tomorrow !!!!!!}
Oh and also did some red and yellow vinyl on one of my helmets, it was all black before, l know ! but kept me busy for an hour

X-ray, Bloods, done.
No osteomyelitis, not likely to be diabetic.:)
No apparent sinus.:)
Given funny shoe to wear, and a rubbish dressing. :rolleyes:

Practice nurse will be doing dressings, she is new! Wonder what she will be like?;)

And you would have laughed.
Wifey came to pick me up with a bin bag on the seat as I "sat down in there".
Once home I got told off, as I left the bin bag in the car as I got out. "You take it indoors, take your "stuff" off and put it in the bag so I can wash it all and then disinfect the floor you dropped them on, and stood on." (in my socks).
My "stuff" is now in the wash and guess who disinfected the floor? Me.

Still no change.

Look on her face would stop a clock. :rolleyes::mad:

My mother used to be a dermatologist.
Among other problems with the job, basically lots of the conditions could not be cured, then.
She used to say that often they would dress some old burd's ulcers and tell her to leave them alone.
And in 5 minutes she have the bandages off and be digging around in them with a knitting needle (how did you know this?!)
Of course after a few sessions of this the leg got so bad that she had to recommend amputation.

So I think Wifey's knitting needles will be safe!:D:D:D

Gorrit open, nuffin obvious to be seen. No blown electrolytic caps, nothing clearly burnt/popped/fizzled or in some other way phucked, no loose wires or heat-creeped connectors......but it's toast.
HDMI board (obvious candidate) is a discrete board but.......... they don't make them any more. :(

Looks like it will be heading for landfill, which is a crime against humanity and ecology.

I am not the worlds best soldrerer, but would it be possible to get some F off big heat sinks and go over it doing the job properly? Or even replace the PCB, which I remember reading, on another thread on here, another member did for his TV and fixed it for a fraction of the cost?

(I have a similar problem as one of our things very occasionally pops off for a mini second then comes back on. Just like a dry joint.)

I didn't like the look of the power connections to the HDMI board so I tickled them with my electric pencil. Put it all back together to see if any "angry pixies" wished to escape (they didn't). :eek:
