It's dark oot but it ain't raining.
No hint of that here.Ola
Tis dark out but I see a hint of frost on the ground.
*yawn* I don't miss doing those!Put the finishing touches to a compliance report this morning.
Neither will I*yawn* I don't miss doing those!
I have heard it said that those placcy rings around beer should always have all the rings cut before you throw them away as, if not, there is a chance that birds that "use" dumps may suffer. Wound round their legs or necks or something.Leave beer on table in the plastic rings & use a straw.
Good ol' Santa!Ahhhh..... well, oops!
The truck with my new mini-GUNlathe has turned up a day early.
I am not finished preparing the area to receive this new toy yet, but I managed to get the guys to stick the crate on a dolly and I have wheeled it into the tiny little workshop.
The crate is providing a stand for an oscillating fan that I am hoping will help to dry out this first coat of paint on the wall, and varnish on the bench.
I hope to be able to take a peek inside the crate tomorrow and my lad will pop round to help me lift it up onto the bench (it weighs 56Kg so a bit too heavy and unwieldy for a 1 man lift.
I have no well-defined projects for this new toy yet....so best put my thinking cap on.

Seem to remember you mentioning this type of thing before! When they say just go up thy track till you can’t go no further.... (I hope they don’t mean till you get stuck)

Sounds like you and Wifey have dangerously a lot in common!Put the finishing touches to a compliance report this morning. You will be pleased to know we comply to many regulations
Having a cuppa and a break now
what did you do?The Magpie Residence is no more! It is sad but they just had to be evicted if life here in the DD Palace was to function with love and peace all round.
what did you do?
Thats not getting old. Just approaching mid life crisisI must be getting old. The Toyota Yaris is starting to appeal to me.
I saw the farmer this morning at 10am and the tree was gone by 1pm. He has a biomass boiler so has all the huge tree-cutting equipment to go with feeding it! It did look funny going along the lane to the farm leading the way on the front of a machine and still looking like a full tree but without the big trunk! I wonder if the missing dog toys and the yellow hair slide will be in one of the nests????what did you do?
