Have you considered liberating a mortar & pestle from the kitchen to finely grind charcoal after initial pre-grind in a coffee mill?Stopped raining here, off to Argos later for a new coffee grinder cos my cheapo one didn't like the lumpwood charcoal I put through it

Ere @My Old Landy i passed through Wendover on the way to Amersham this afternoon and the trees were full of tree houses, pallet barricades. Eco warriors protesting against HS2. Glad I’ve moved, don’t want the great unwashed in my backyard

I'm running it through a very fine mesh sieve, it's more the fact that it's hardwood charcoal. Willow is the best to use but I'm currently to tight to buy some
I think I'll have to eventually though....
