Tell me about it! I was full of energy up to about 75 but from then on the rate of decline is certainly noticeable.
My MIL is 91 and was always sprightly. Although she has had both hips replaced 15 years ago she still does a bit of Yoga to keep herself moving. I think her mind will go before her body does. She's got a touch of age-related dementia and has short-term memory issues but in most respects she is in really good nick. :)

Finik @Henry_b is doing this now so he can tell us!
Yep It's hectic, we're working overtime to accommodate the sheer number of deliveries, christmas time eh!!! ;)
Good Money though! ;)

I feel fitter to be fair, Today I had to deliver what I can only think to be a massive box of Gym equipment, had to slog up flights of stairs to deliver it to a guy who looked like he was running a 41c fever and an Acid high...:confused::D

Next gent had an obscene number of knives delivered, all 10in kitchen knives from what I could gather :D

And the rest is just Christmas pressies.. ;)

It's good fun ;):D

we have 2 wheelie bins ,waste and recyclables, better than the bags we used to have if wildlife didnt split the bags the bin men did
We have four, the black bin for landfill goes out one week, the green one with it's mate the bottle bin goes out the other week and each week the little brown one with food in it goes out. You can also rent a brown bin for garden waste. Are we doing OK in the Bins stakes?;)

Me fiend does delivery. When it's flats he refuses ter go int. Ont ocashun he's come down the stairs ter find he's trapped by a wivva knife. So he fones the delivery address un tells em ter come down ter collect or takes said parcel away. He dun't enter flats now.

trubble is they don't biodegrade under ground!:(
They degrade anaerobically in landfill (ie without oxygen) and produce methane, a particularly nasty green house gas. But thats not the same as biodegradation which is what they are supposed to do. There's no such thing as a free lunch in this issue. They probably all end up in landfill or incinerators, the latter consuming oxygen.

Eye wos impressed wiv me sds drill. When eye fust moved me doors wider a yeer ago me battery drill struggld ter drill ole int bricks. Yer cud tell some were arder than uvvas. Tis a good drill but 10mm maysonry must be ont limit. The sds went int reely qwik un the drill bit dint go blunt 3 times. Yer cud still tell witch briks wur arder than uvvas still.
When I was doing some decking two summers ago i had to drill through reinforced concrete. Obvs couldnt tell when I was going to be drilling through the steel. Got two SDS bits thinking it was bound to be necessary. they went through it all as if it was barely there. Only used one bit and never needed to sharpen it nor nuffin. €10 each. Brill! :):):)

Thats not all that it seems. Biodegradation of materials has BOD (biological oxygen demand) and COD (chemical oxygen demand). Degradation takes a lot of oxygen out of the ecosystem.
But for here it is sadly the best way of doing it. It is the best option that's suited to the area. I agree there are better ways of doing things ecologically but they are not suitable for here.

for most id think wheeling a bin out is easier than carrying bags
Have to agree. We used to have to use bags, and we have to take our stuff along the side of the garage, out of a gate, around obstacles such as a big trailer and various vehicles before going down the communal drive to the road. It became much easier once we got wheelie bins, and we can usually get the bottle bin into the other green bin at the top, just to transport it, and do it all in one go. You just have to balance it right. :)
