Anyway, morning all.
Wifey off to Pompey for xmas shopping, what do they see in it?
My idea of hell would be to have to shop like that every day of the week, double hell, with wifey or any other wimmins.
Once got so p!!ssed off before we even got to the shops in Soton that I threw a chair across a café. Luckily early in the morning, no one else there and no staff actually saw it!
The internet is heaven at least for this sort of thing!
At least wifey now plans the inevitable occasional trip with planned stops for booze etc, a treat somewhere and no going into shops we don't need to! (I think the chair throwing was accidentally a good idea, in this respect!)

How easy was that, dont know why women complain about house work.
Stripped the fairing off the Aprilia yesteday, will fire it up later and do an oil and filter change. Oh after a visit to Tesco, another aspect of House Husbandry

Leave the Hoover handy and just as she comes in switch it on and "finish", while sweating and say "Never knew there was so much to this, respect to you!" Hide the Aprilia. Pace yourself, imagine you have the time and motion man watching you!
Leave the shopping til the evening, let her, say, "Not done the shopping then? OK, leave it till tomoz this time."
Then cook her a decent dinner, wifey's allus likes that! (And you can cook what YOU like).
With a wife who worked away from home most of the time i have about 25 years experience of this, even though I did do a full time job!
(Once had a mate, his wife asked him to do some hoovering, he made sure he banged it into all the furniture. She screamed and said, "don't ever touch that Hoover again!" Result! )

I have just had another pallet of granite slabs delivered. Will have to let the full english settle before I lug them all from front to rear of Wimblowdriver Towers. Next spring's job is upgrading the rear terraces ------
