Well our day was going great until a few moments ago, though it could have been worse.
Up early then finished off yet more present wrapping, waiting for Herpes and DHL to come and pick up parcels for delivery.
The Herpes guy came at about 1 pm and picked up three, for France.
Less than an hour later a random couple showed up at the door with one of our parcels in their hands. they found it on the ground near an underpass you can only walk through, under a bypass which is about 300 metres from our place.
They took a photo of it in situ.
Decent folk, they could have just pinched it.
Meanwhile wifey has been onto Parcels2Go with some success, a chat and promises.
I have tried Hermes website chat, load of total rubbish, cannot get through to a human especially as the parcel is for abroad.
The parcel contains a handmade quilt wifey started making two years ago!
As fior the other two, who knows?
The guy had an authentic looking scanner and a Hermes jacket on.
Luckily the whol lot is insured.
Now I'm sure others will jump on with similar horror stories.
and we thought the French post office were bad!
