Hi Folks!
Just got here.
Put towbar mount back on Disco, thort it warn't gonna fit after welding on chassis so took crossbar off, once all tightened up saw that cross bar would fit, but it wouldn't go inside the mount unless I took it all back off. Feck that, so it is now bolted on outside. Same strength but not eggzactly right. Grr! At least it provides a recovery point!
Dinner cooked by me was Beef, and all the trimmings, nice!
Helping a mate in Telford with his ford Fu cus. Remotely. He is chuffed with his new OBD2 reader! Has MIL light on but now knows it is only his EGR reading high. his wifey only drives a coupla miles at a time, so no wonder. He asked me if it would be a good idea to take it for a spin up the motorway. I said, " an Italian tune, you mean?" he had never heard the term, and as he is Sicilian, I had to laugh!
So I will be doing the research for him unless he does it for himself. Trouble is he has hinted at getting a new car, oooops. Never say that in the earshot of wimmins! He's owned the car since it was a year old and looked after it propah. We'll see!
Thanks for whatever you have seen @marjon I'll be interested in whatever comes up. but the real Christmas pressy would be if we didn't need to get long term visas, and carnt see that appenin! Anyway, all that is another thread.
