after the op, i obviously stop taking the blood pressure pill and rang the doctors to tell them , they werent happy about it at all , i said surely if you thought i needed my blood pressure reducing youd have me back to check after a week or two to ensure it was then correct, and the hospital had insisted i stop ,that was a good few years back and i dont take a blood pressure pill and my blood pressure is normal
Great! Good to hear you are better and with normal BP.:):):)

Well got up to thick mist but sunny now.
After wiffey's hair got cut yessday did bugre all as the weather couldn't make its mind up and we were looking to go out to friends early that eve for an "apéro dinatoire" but they rang us up at last minute as the wifey there was in agony in hospital.
Rang them this morn and she answered the phone. Twas "calculs rénaux" or kidney stones, to you and me. But she is till in pain and feeling sick so the AD is off and her other half is insisting on bringing the fancy nibbles over this midday. They are so ridiculously nice. Still at least we'll be able to give them the gifts we were planning on giving anyway. :):):)
If it stays fine then I'll be on the roof.

Happy Saturday folks:)

Well it all went so well this morning i reckon on taking the rest of the day off.
So garage shuffled and bike loaded. Plan to take over to mates on Monday & load his then leave trailer at his for picking up Tuesday then off to the red tape dept for a long wait:)

I reckon @Hippo is hoping we all listen to him and end up getting up 2 hours early:oops::D

Now i must run around the house and change all the clocks, there done that was quick we dont have any:p. only have electrikery ones and they do themselves cos they are clever things these days. Only have to change the car but considering we drove the car for 18mths with it showing 1 day ahead after the leap year, sort of shows how much notice we take of time and day when you are retired.

Right it is now Apéro o'clock!
And @derwendolly we have butchered the almond tree so wifey is currently trying to see if she can make a few twigs that she selected off it "take" in order to be able to send them to you.
Cross fingers!
Butchered the fallen trellis back into the hole and made up all sorts of strengthening bits to keep it in place and stop it from breaking where they cleverly put bits with knots in where we could do without them.
To the extent that I wonder if they select the bits of wood on purpose for this!
Virginia creeper all sorted and gutters cleaned out.
Had mate round lunchtime to celebrate his Bday and cos his wife wasn't up to having us round. 84 and he looks younger than me! but wouldn't want his heart and circulation problems.
Looking forward to the extra hour's kip!:)
Oh and the gearbox is now topped up with ATF, ready for the return journey.
Busy day, well for me!
:):):):)
Catch you later!

Easier than riding it on "Italian job" style!
Well done!
Brains rather than brawn!
X fingers for you!

Dubbel lick. I likes oldie bikes. :D.
That's OLD? Must admit, and remember I know fuck all about bikes, it does look a bit like a Triumph. Can't quite make out the word on the side bit.
First bikes I worked on belonged to my mate, youngern me. AJS, Matchless, Triumph 650. one rev per lamp-post jobs, some of them. Loved the sound of them. But the springs were in the seats on some too. and kickstarting was a bit of a pain!
If I ever was to get ike it would have to be an old un!
Lovely!:):):)
